It has been stated that grandmaster Sensei Arie van den Akker is a practical/reality practitioner of the martial arts. He has always strived to broaden and develop his skills and knowledge, from shuriken throwing to the stealthy discipline of ninjutsu. Today master Arie van den Akker is often acknowledged as the "Father of real Ninjutsu". There was a time when ninjitsu was not being practiced publically outside Japan. But Arie van den Akker was one of a few individuals, who dared to seek out and study the arts of the ninja. Since then, other ninjitsu practitioners and schools have emerged. His training made him change the Kuroi ryu ninja tradition into the kurokumo Shinobi Goshido Grandmaster Arie van den Akker is also an exceptional Yoga teacher and studied the art in India.
